藤田昌久

藤田 昌久（ふじた まさひさ、1943年7月21日 - ）は、日本の経済学者。独立行政法人経済産業研究所所長。京都大学名誉教授。専門は都市経済学、空間経済学。

来歴

1943年、山口県に生まれる。京都大学工学部を卒業し、ペンシルベニア大学でウォルター・アイザードに地域科学を学ぶ。1972年に同大学よりPh.D. (in Regional Science) を取得。

ポール・クルーグマンらとの共同研究により、アイザードの地域科学論を経済学に応用することで行った空間経済学の構築と発展へ多大な貢献を行った。
